Palms At Indian Head

The Palms at Indian Head is at the site of the Old Hoberg Resort, the first major lodging facility in Borrego Springs. Built in 1947, the 20 acre resort was a favorite getaway for the Hollywood stars in the 1950’s. Now a 12 room boutique hotel, we offer a large pool with 25 yard lap lanes, jacuzzi, and expansive views of the valley and mountains with many rooms having floor to ceiling windows. All rooms have been recently remodeled (or will be soon), and updated in a mid-century modern style that include big screen tvs, wifi, and nespresso machines. Are two poolside casitas have central air/heat and a fireplace.

Off the main roads, you'll enjoy the sounds of nature instead of car engines. In season, the Coyote Steakhouse offers the popular 3 course Prix Fixe dinner, Prime Grade Steaks, Lobster and many other delicious options.

The best location in the valley, tucked in under Indian Head Mountain, we're located just below the State Park Palm Canyon campground, so there's no shortage of hiking trails nearby including an easy walk to the Anza Borrego Desert State Park Flagship Hiking Trail: the Palms Oasis hiking trail. It's also an easy walk to the State Park visitor center, the Panoramic Overlook trail and for heartier hikers, the Hellhole Canyon trail
